Hypermobility Evaluation and Treatment
Evaluation for Hypermobility Syndrome and its common effects/symptoms
Service Description
Hypermobility syndrome is poorly diagnosed and has frequently is not well treated. Pain is the most common complaint in hypermobility syndrome but other symptoms include; vertigo (dizziness), dysphagia (coughing or trouble swallowing), GI dysmotility (constipation diarrhea intermittent), multi-joint injury and early arthritis, neuropathy or intermittent numbness and tingling, and early chronic pain starting as young as 20 years old. I am excited to help those with hypermobility and would enjoy to talk to patients about conservative and interventional treatments that could potentially help this condition and save money on expensive workups that usually come back negative. This condition can be improved with time and effort. I hope to make St George a place that those with hypermobility will feel understood and cared for.
